8 Surrey Lane was the address of my last childhood home.
As I was working on this project, the idea that this house would not always be my house crystalized in my mind. I considered the place, the trees, the structure of the house and our bodies passing through it all; generations blurring with passing time. The place and the people became inseparable and took on characteristics of one another.
Works are presented as 16" x 20" gelatin silver prints from wet-collodion negatives. |
